This hands-on experience is designed for dental lab technicians looking to deepen their knowledge of stackable guides and photogrammetry. Attendees will receive one-on-one training in CoDiagnostix and learn how to prepare a case for photogrammetry. The second day includes a live surgical observation, demonstrating the clinical workflow of a stackable guide. Once implants are placed, a photogrammetry scan using the iCAM system from iMetric will be performed, and participants will learn the most efficient methods for processing and designing a temporary prosthesis. The milled temporary will then be stained using Optiglaze or finished with composite techniques. On the final day, attendees will observe the seating of the prosthesis, and all design work will be recorded, providing valuable internal training materials.
Learning Objectives:
1. Understand the workflow of stackable guides and photogrammetry, from pre-planning in CoDiagnostix to clinical application.
2. Learn efficient techniques for processing photogrammetry data, designing, and fabricating temporary prostheses.
3. Gain hands-on experience with finishing techniques, including Optiglaze staining and composite finishing, to enhance prosthetic esthetics.
All surgeries take place in Portland with training at Ceramics West Dental Lab
