Workshop Description

Digital Workflow for All-on-X and Printed Temporary Characterization
This workshop will be a lecture in the morning and hands on in the afternoon.  This course will cover the workflow from surgical planning with or without guided surgery to final restoration for a typical all on X restoration utilizing Straumann ProArch components and implants.  The digital acquisition process will feature Trios intraoral scanning and the Optisplint scan body system instead of digital photogrammetry.  The literature behind this rationale will also be reviewed during the lecture portion.  We will also review the workflow for printing provisionals for next day delivery in lieu of the typical conversion.  Exocad software will be utilized to illustrate the merging of data for design purposes.
The afternoon hands on session begins after lunch.  Attendees will lute together the Optisplint system and the scanning protocol will be discussed.  The majority of the hands on will feature instruction on applying GC Gradia and Optiglaze for prototype try in or provisions for both full arch cases as well as single unit implant temporaries.  All prototypes will be printed using GC Temp on Straumann P series printers.
